Our endeavour to save the oceans from plastic waste helped us to diversify our operations and deliver solutions to tackle epidemics in developing nations. Our mosquito nets are sustainable and made from 100% post-consumer PET bottle waste.
Established in 2009, Shobikaa Impex Private Ltd (SIPL) has a contemporary and vertically integrated manufacturing facility that enables us to deliver best-in-class LLIN mosquito bed nets, yarns and fabrics using recycled PET bottle waste. Our world-class manufacturing facility equipped with German machinery consumes nearly 370 tons of plastic bottle waste on a weekly basis which adds up to 20,000 tons of plastic bottle waste annually. The produced rPET yarn is sturdy with good tensile properties and suitable for use in a wide range of weaving, knitting and home furnishing applications. We continuously explore cutting-edge technologies and processes to deliver the best outcomes, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of sustainable manufacturing.
